David Held has worked in the field of educational technology for over 25 years including Teachers College, Trinity School (Manhattan) and Poughkeepsie Day School. He taught Art and Technology classes integrating electronics, coding and making; and STEM integration classes in engineering and citizen science. He has given several workshops focusing on teaching making, coding, electronics and STEAM through building projects. He has presented at several conferences including at thenNAIS, SXSWEdu, ATLIS, ITEEA, NYSCATE, and NYSAIS. He is also an artist creating interactive sound installations.
