Hansen - Collaborate, Make a Difference: Improving MIT OpenCourseWare through Teacher Feedback

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

MIT OpenCourseWare offers teaching materials from 2400 courses spanning the entire MIT undergraduate and graduate curriculum. MIT OpenCourseWare’s Creative Commons license means that anyone, anywhere in the world, can translate, remix, and freely share our materials—which makes the site perfect for educators! Through a special portal and publications, OCW Educator helps teachers and librarians navigate the vast library of MIT teaching materials available on the site. In this session, we offer participants a unique opportunity to shape the future of the OCW site and, in particular, its features for teachers. Participants will engage in interactive user-testing and provide feedback (online and in small groups) to OCW site innovators. We’ll translate this feedback into changes that will improve global learning communities’ access to this high quality open educational resource. It’s a chance to collaborate with colleagues to make a difference in the lives of teachers and learners around the globe!
