There are many examples from K-12 levels on Alan's ideas around the digital learning farm (student as designer, scribe, researcher, communicator & collaborator). However, at the university level this has not been used or documented to the best of my knowledge. This session will give examples and ideas on how to do this at the university level. I've been doing this in all my McGill classes since 2010 (after I attended BLC with Michael Wesch). I will showcase student work, blogs, and examples of how I have my undergrad and grad students do this regardless of their field of study. I will also share and provide specific resources on how to do this in your school (all levels).
