Explore how the crafting of a shared vision and defining beliefs served as the framework that ultimately drove how one school’s leader, teachers, and students worked as a collaborative team to impact student learning. This session will provide a strategic roadmap to align professional learning to a shared vision to help overcome the barriers and challenges of change and empower teachers and students to act as the major change agents. Through applications of change, the leader as the role model, and the inclusion of student voice, a cultural shift transpires and change is sustained.

During this session, participants will:
• Explore how to cultivate a culture that uses shared vision and beliefs to drive continuous growth.
• Apply research and principles of leading change to design a sustainable professional learning model.
• Evaluate the critical behaviors of a school leader, teacher leaders, and students in the process of sustaining change that result in the empowerment of all.
