Passionate about voice and choice in my 1st grade classroom. Project based learning grounded in teaching our youngest students the 21st century skills necessary for success. Communication, collaboration, crical thinking and creativity are explicitly taught. My students also develop a mindset for learning that help us to learn and work together. My 1st grade team piloted the 1st 1.1 iPad program in our school district. my students blog regularly and use Twitter to connect and share learning. I'm so excited to be attending BLC for the second time!
